Welcome to the first of MANY posts about pins!! I figured I would these first two posts would be more of an introduction into the world of Disney pins and the do’s and dont’s of pin trading! 

I’ve been pin trading since I was 14 years old and have been in love with this hobby every since! I still remember my very first pin!
I first started because when you made a $25 purchase, you could get a mystery pin for  only $2! Well one of the options for the mystery pins was a Little Mermaid one (and if you don’t know me, you’ll learn quickly that I’m OBSESSED with Ariel!). So, obviously I NEEDED it right? Well of course I didn’t get it but the first cast member I saw with pins had an Ariel topiary pin so I traded for it and the obsession began!

Fast forward to now, I have over 1,000 pins and counting! I’m constantly adding to my collection and even started other collections! Aside from collecting all pins relating to The Little Mermaid, I have started collecting Belle from Beauty and the Beast, The Haunted Mansion, Bear in the Big Blue House, and older princess sets. Maybe one day I’ll count all of my pins including the traders!

As for pin trading in Walt Disney World, it is a very popular hobby and the best part is that anyone can do it! A few things I like to tell people who are just starting out is to try and pick something you’d like to collect. This way when you’re looking at different boards, lanyards, or traders books you don’t feel too overwhelmed. Once your collection develops to the point where it is hard to find pins around the parks, is when I would start other collections. For me, picking what to collect was easy, I have always loved Ariel and knew it wasn’t a character or movie that I was just loving in the moment; it is something that I have been a huge fan of since I was a baby. I would pick something that you have loved for a while such as a favorite character, movie, or ride! Of course with that being said, if you’re looking at a lanyard and see a pin you love, get it! Chances are, someone else will love it too so it might not be there later in the day. 

In WDW, the most common places to find pins are on cast members (CM) throughout the parks, Disney Springs, and the resorts. Most merchandise CM will have lanyards or pouches with pins and will be more than happy to trade. When trading with CM there are 4 important things to remember. 1: Make sure you are polite and asking to look at their pins. 2: If you see a pin you like, the pin you give them must be an official Disney pin. 3. Along with it being a Disney pin, it must not be a pin that the CM already had on their lanyard. And most importantly, number 4, it is okay to look at their lanyard and not make a trade. When I was a CM who wore a lanyard, I would always see guests feel pressured to trade because they asked to look. it is okay! If you don't want to trade you don't have too! You spent money on your pins, and if you are giving one up you like to receive one that you don't like, what's the point?

I think that Disney pins are beautiful and a perfect souvenir from the parks. It is something that you can get every trip and keep adding! Happy Valentine's Day loves!

I hope that you have a wonderful day showing love for the people in your life! But..... if we're being completely honest, I am not the biggest fan of Valentine's Day. Out of all the holidays that I celebrate, this is not the one the that I get the most excited for. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of having a certain day set aside where people come together and share their love and appreciation for the ones in their lives, but why is this only on one day a year? I think that it should be every day where we do a little extra for someone we love!

Now, I'm not saying that I don't celebrate the holiday... because I'm not... at all! My boyfriend and I will be celebrating our 4th Valentine's Day together this year and we have very exciting plans of going to work because it is after all a Thursday. After work we are staying in and he is making dinner, I'm making dessert, and we will probably watch a movie or The Office. I prefer to spend the night in because any restaurant will be too crowded!

Today, I thought that I would throw together different Valentine's Day (or really any day) outfit ideas for you! Everything pictured can be found at Target and is under $30 a piece!

This first outfit had very low-key v-day vibes. The red skirt would also work perfectly with white or blue for Memorial Day or the 4th of July! I cut a plain fitted black tee to create this top with a deep v-neck, and you can find the sneakers here! Overall, I think that this outfit is something shows you are celebrating, but not over the top with too much pink and red!

My third outfit is the most casual and something that I would wear all year long! Living in central Florida, a pair of great fitting shorts and a looser fitting tee basically make up 85% of any entire closet. The best part about the tee? It's only $8.00! I have the HARDEST time finding shorts that not only fit, but make me feel good in and these did both! I have big hips and a small waist, so most shorts ride up a lot causing my cheeks to show... but not these (and they are true to size)! I cant wait to go back and them in more colors!

Also! Those sandals are insanely comfortable and I could see myself wearing this entire outfit in Disney next time I go! 

The fourth and final outfit is hands down my favorite! This jumpsuit is one of the most COMFORTABLE things that I have ever worn. This jumpsuit is only $28.00, which is incredible because that is your entire outfit! It is made with really soft rayon, it literally felt as if I was wearing the cutest PJs! I would pair it with the black sandals from the outfit above (or if you prefer not shoes, go and rock that!). 

And the best part? It has pockets!!! I'm sure if you're a women reading this you 100% understand how exciting it is to have a dress, romper, or jumpsuit (really anything) with pockets! I seriously have no idea why designers don't include pockets more often?! (okay I mean I do because they want us to buy their purses, but still.... we want more pockets!)

Oh! and for those of you wondering... yes, every single photo was shot inside Target, primarily in the fitting room! My friend Katie and I had a blast with this mini photoshoot and ever Target team member who saw us thought it was hilarious and loved the outfits (especially the jumpsuit). 

Hey Everyone and Merry Christmas! 

I wanted to start off this post by saying that I am INCREDIBLY grateful. I, in no way at all want this to come across as bragging, I just honestly love watching (and reading) "What I Got For Christmas" videos/posts so I thought that I would share with those of you who also love these posts! 

This year I have been very blessed by my wonderful boyfriend, and amazing family and friends. I honestly don't know what I did to deserve these people and their generosity, but I do not take it for granted.

I know that the holiday season is about spending time with loved ones and I have been lucky enough to do just that! On Christmas Eve my boyfriend, Patrick, and I spent all day wrapping presents and baking cookies. Christmas Day we had an early Christmas at home (bc let's be real.... we were excited to finally share our gifts for each other and the pup! Then we spent the day at his parents house with all his siblings, nieces and nephew! 

My biggest and most exciting gift from my amazing boyfriend would be a KitchenAid Mixer. I have been dreaming of having one of these bad boys in the kitchen since the day I loved out and I am beyond excited to finally say that I own one!


My best friend gave me an Erin Condren planner this year and to go with it, my boyfriend's mother gave me washi tape, stickers, and a craft organizer!  Patrick also gave me 100 gel pens to write in it because he knows that I love to color code everything!

My wonderful mom also spoiled me! We recently got a king sized bed, so these sheets were perfect! My mom also knew that Pat was getting me the mixer, so she added some cute Kate Spade kitchen accessorizes! She also gifted us a water cooler, that I really wanted and I'm very excited to not be using as many water bottles. Lastly, our favorite chocolate from See's Candy!


This year, Pat and I adopted a Black Lab mix, and if anyone else out there has a Black Lab then you know just how much they shed! We got a Roomba to help out with that and I have been LOVING it!

I can't believe that we are in the final countdown until Christmas Day! We are just 4 short days away from Christmas morning, and although I did most of my shopping already I know there are still some last minute things I can add to gifts!

With it being so close to the holiday, the best option would be to hit up your local mall or shopping center; ordering online, even with expedited shipping still might not get to you in time. I work in a mall and have since 2013, I know how much of a nightmare they are these next few days so I would suggest going as soon as they open if that is possible. Here are 10 of my top picks for this holiday season!

• As someone who has tried many eye shadow primers, this one from MAC has been the winner for me! It stayed on for almost 48 hours and through a rain storm in Universal Studios! (I literally just left it on as long as I could to see how it would hold up, and it's safe to say that it did it's job!)
• An oldie, but a goodie! My favorite of the NAKED Palette collection! Sadly, I heard that Urban Decay is retiring this beauty, so I would get your hands on it quickly!
• Something else that is on my list is a Kylie Lip Kit. I know I know, I am very late to the game, but I wanted to be able to test the colors in person before I bought one and thanks to ULTA I now can! 

Lastly, for some other items on my list that I hope others would enjoy as well!

• The top golden ticket item for me this year would be a KitchenAid Mixer! As someone who love to bake I have always wanted one!
• With the new year and new semester quickly approaching, people typically try to be more organized, and this planner is what I'm using in 2019! The best part? You can customize it! 
• BONUS! You can add some sticker books from Hobby Lobby or snap ins to help make the planner more tailored to your needs!
• As someone who has a dog who sheds CONSTANTLY, a Roomba was high on my list as well. Hopefully it will help control all of the dog hair!

The holidays are my favorite time of year: the lights, decorations, special holiday drinks and food, all of it just makes it truly the most wonderful time of the year. Hey Everyone and Welcome!

Although I am getting this post up much later than I intended, I wanted to get my first official post up today! For those of you who know me, you know that I absolutely LOVE candles. I have one burning constantly whenever I am home. With all of that being said, today, December 1st (aka the first Saturday of December) is candle day at Bath and Body Works. This is probably my favorite sale of the year and the one that I look forward too the most! To me this is much better than their Black Friday sales (but to be completely honest, I still hit them up every year... I mean we gotta get the tote right?!)

Today I ended up working a 5 am shift at the mall and it was kind of perfect because that meant that I was already awake and could go next door at 7 when they opened. While I was folding clothes I looked out the window and saw security leading in about 50 people, I told my co-worker that I was going to take my break and booked it over there! I later learned that they had a huge line outside the mall and were only letting in 50 at a time. The line to pay at 7 wasn't too bad, but I ended up going back at 11:30 after my shift because I realized I grabbed the wrong scent and needed to swap it out.

The Haul! Guys let me be the first to say... I went hard this candle day. In my defense, I had a store credit and 20% off your total purchase coupon, but still. My goal was for it to last me throughout the year and I think it is safe to say I achieved that!
